Welcome to MARCOM Professional Development Annual Forum 2012 – the premiere educational forum that understands the daily reality in your world of marketing and communications. MARCOM takes a look at the trends and topics that matter most to public sector and not-for-profit marketers and communicators. It’s a chance to enhance your strategic approach, mingle with like-minded people and pick up practical tools and tips you can put to use now.
As we move into our fourteenth year, we continually strive to evolve the content and culture of marketing and communications…together we will delve into the rapidly changing landscape to better understand how we can adapt in a timely fashion. Through our theme “rewiring the marketing mind” we’ll rethink our mindset and approach, rework our strategy and processes, reaffirm our research and evaluation and reengage our audiences in better ways. It’s not about doing “more for less” or “more with less”, it’s about doing things differently. The new marketer will develop objectives, ask why, integrate tactics, measure everything, and deliver useful messages directed at individuals. Collaboration, connections and a more human approach will underpin this real-time reality for measurable results.
Our program offers inspiring Keynotes and plenary sessions, 16 concurrent sessions, Peer2Peer Roundtables and a Networking Reception. We offer a total of 4 pre-forum Workshops and as always, there’s an Exhibit Showcase of marketing vendors who can elaborate on how their solutions can help you in your initiatives. Returning this year will be two rapid-fire solutions sessions; 1 for governments and agencies and 1 for associations and non-profits, delivered by qualifying marketing solutions providers.
